Somone does not like the show! Gasp!

If you look in the comments of the last podcast, Anonymous thinks the show stinks, I think he bring some valid concerns, One that I don't know or care about the WR on San Fran and I'm smug. He thinks I was "being self-satisfied, smug, and hypocritical then I invite you (and everyone else) to listen again to the first few minutes of your podcast for 8-12-05" So lets do that, I just did, I agree I do seem self-satisfied and smug, probbaly because I got the baby to bed before 8, that, my friends, takes skill. As always I welcome all comments, good or bad, just put a name on it and an email so I can follow up with you.
So, flame on!

I think you're being selective in your editing of my comment.

While I agree, I was VERY critical of your podcast the reason was (repeating):

"It is the height of hypocrisy to sarcastically ridicule Carter's article for being painfully obvious while, in nearly the same breath, delivering just as painfully obvious information (Alex Smith isn't a good fantasy pick)."

Without the above information as context this post of yours seems less about offering up your performance for others to evaluate and more about getting others to 'pile on' my critical comment.

Still Anonymous, thats funny, like anyone cares. I listen to this show becasue I already get enough "expert" advise and Slick Promotion. This is a nice departure thats why I like it. I too thought Carters article was obvious and I also got the sarcasm in the podcast. Anonymous may actually be his name?

Your show is informative and is nice to add some extra info to our fantasy football sheets. However, I think you need to address that you are basing your rankings and running back strategy on a standard league. Not everyone is in a league like that. I have one league where WR's are greatly valued when compared to RB's. Most people don't look at the settings, but last year, I noticed that and drafted 4 WR's in a row, and went on to win the league. I think you need to stress in your podcast that you are assuming we are in standard leagues, or basically standard leagues, because you could be greatly hurting people who don't look at the settings in their league or don't understand the settings.

And in that league I'm in, I'm going to take Randy Moss with the #5 pick. Last year, no one looked at the settings, and I assume that none of them have wisened up yet. I don't think the commissioner of that league even understands his own settings.
