Gridiron Guru League Draft: "Results from the 2005 Gridiron Guru League Draft, which will be updated as the draft progresses."

Fantasy Sac Says: I don't want to rain on anyones parade but this draft buy GURU's like Phil Simms, Bommer Esiason, Jim Nance, Steve "special teams demon" Tasker and Dan "My Man" Marino, shows that WE know WAY more then these fools.
Don't look at the first round, Skip to the 2nd round where Marvin Harrison was drafted 16th, Deuce McAllister was drafted #17. More disturbing was the pickup of Lamont Jordan at 27 from a Brent Jones who grabbed Holmes at #2, over Manning, then in round three grabbed Javon Walker. Worst then that is Pete Prisco who is a columnist for CSB sportsline not only grabbed Fred "oh shit my knee" Taylor in round three but also Tatum Bell in round three after Manning in round one. Needless to say take a look at this progressing Draft. My money is on either Phil Simms with Culpepper and Reggie Wayne in the early rounds or Mike Fabino with james and Johnson in the forst 2 rounds. I will keep watching this draft, you should too.

At the bottom of thier page: "Draft results will be posted over the next several weeks, so check back to keep tabs on who the expects* select"

*cause we know they can't be experts!

I really wish the guys in my league were as retarded as these guys. ...(no offence directed to mentaly handicaped people -those guys are clearly more slow than you)

The 2 players I think have the best draft so far, Cohend with DD and MacAllister; and Fabiano with Edge and Rudi.

*sorry i just noticed that picture she's flippin hot -too bad it's to some bunk boobie site*

I think this may be a good example of how not to draft, and that you shouldn't rush your picks.
Holmes #2? why? he's just going get hurt again; MaGahee that early?; I would never grab a WR in Rd 1; and my fav: Portis... seriously I won't get him until Rd 2/3 -(he should have grabbed DD, McNabb or McAllister); Did everyone just forget about T.Green, Horn, Brady, Chad Johnson in Rd 2? -they did remember the Jones, which is another early pick. (Seriously, rushing your picks hurt you. The Jones are a Rd 3 earlest -I would push to 4)

No kidding, I would take McGahee early but not a WR. What is the deal with Holmes, I have a feeling he will be picked 1st in my league this year, the guy who has first pick has no idea. Gee I hope he does not read this.= :)

Now I've been hearing that Holmes will do good, and that LJ will just maintain his back-up roll... I don't think they really know one way or the other. I'll say this, the pace Holmes was on last year, makes it hard to pass on him. I don't remember how bad his injury was/is. They say he's 100%, but they said that last year too (when he was like 80%). Even if it's both him and LJ in the backfield, I'm sure he'll get you good points. When he was out, there were times when Blaylock and LJ would split 4-6 TD's in a single game. -I think I would be happy with any RB who touches the ball 15-20 times a game and gets me 2 TDs

I'm not sure about McGahee going 5 or earlier. I think DD (Hou RB) would get you better points becuase he is already more involved in the passing game. He has a bit more experience, and hasn't had any knee problems that I have heard of.

I think Cohend and Fabiano still have the best drafts
