Fantasy Special: Krause Publications Draft: "One of the really early Drafts that I have seen."

Fantasy Sac says: Take note here folks, I still see a RB heavy draft in the first round. WHY is that? In my league we gave points for completions, so Manning was tops, but so was Favrerereerer and Culpepper and McNabb last year in points. In other leagues RB have the ball more often and have more chances but still do not score nearly as much as QB's. So why the focus on a RB. Well look at the lost. Thats pretty much all the good backs, there are about 12 great backs in my estimation and looking at the first 2 rounds they are picked. I would have put Martin before Portis he was the league rushing leader at 31 last year. I would also put Holmes down to about 5-6. Now there are some "quality" backs but as you can see most were picked in the 2nd round. Jones squared, Davis Brown, Jordan and Jackson would not be before Bell or westbrook on my board but its right there. I think the best thing I see out of these drafts is that there are few 1-2 RB;s out there but, TE's are getting props with 2 going in the 3rd round and LOTSA rookie WRs being grabbed. So take a look.
