Saints add ex-Viking Bennett to back up McAllister: "Former first-round tailback and unrestricted free agent Michael Bennett, whose promising career has been derailed by a series of injuries, has reached a contract agreement with the New Orleans Saints."
Fantasy Sac Says: This is interesting, Bennett the once starter for the Vikings now a backup in New Orleans, to a guy who had season ending knee surgery. So basically the saints are hurting that the RB position, Duce is good but I wonder how effective he will be. Signing Bennett as a backup says something, he can still play, but he is obviously not a starter anymore. I guess what I'm saying is without a good backfield, how effective will Brees be? I think this drops Drew way down.
