It is coming about four games later than originally anticipated, but the San Francisco 49ers will embark on the Alex Smith Era on Sunday, as the rookie quarterback and top overall selection in the 2005 draft will make his initial regular-season start.
Fantasy sac says: (t d f) Gee I thought Ratty looked pretty good, Lloys and Battle have been putting up pretty good numbers overall. Oh well, I fear their value will drop, but you never know, yes you do.

This just seems like the 49ers are totally giving up on this year. Rattay has been doing pretty good, and I was impressed with how well they have been doing so far. I think this change is just going to throw the whole team off. Granted, they are not a playoff team with who-ever they put at QB, but I feel that Rattay has a better fantasy value.
