I listen to the other podcasts for fantasy football and even though they are "experts" i definetly like your show the best. Your show is great because you make a ton of sense and have a good insight.

hey, good podcast.

i like the goal at the end.

"our goal is to win our leagues."

our goal is to kick the crap out of the rest of the guys in our leagues and we should help each other do that.

DAMN THAT CBS SPORT SITE TO HELL! I was posting a message here and had a pretty good post then went to that CBS site and poof! gone!

Anyways I'll try again.. good show, I always look forward to the shows and always wish they were longer. The sound at times was too loud and others echoed in the background. Also, be careful with those sound bites. I wouldn't worry about just 1 person (I'm sure it would make it easier on you if there were more people there though.) I've listened to a few of them, and most of the time I just skip through them. I just get boared with their "average expert advice". Plus most of them have no interaction with their listeners.

Here's a poll: Which TE could do the best
R. McMichael
J. Wiggins
Da. Clark
L. Smith
E. Johnson
H. Miller
B. Troupe

I keep seeing all the TEs I want going Rd.2 (yes! I have see a gonzo in Rd 2!) to Rd.6. I'm just not sure if I really want to spend that early of a pick on them. I figure Gonzo, Gates, Crumpler, Witten, Shockley, Heap are all the top picks. But who may be the TEs that you can pick up later and they could do pretty well for you, which allows you to stack up on better back-ups, handcuffs, steal handcuffs, and pick up sleepers.

We were jut talking about TE, in a friends league, Gonzo whent #8 and Gates #9. I figure those guys seasons are basically done. TE should be picked up in round 6 or 7th at the EARLIEST!

yeah it's just nuts to pick up a TE that early (well even more so when they go #8/9 early) I can see when a good TE goes Rd. 5 and only on 12 player leagues Rd.4. Some TEs will get you close to WR stats (CLOSE -and not consistantly)
Can the TE spot make a difference? -I guess so. My league was won by 1 point last year. I just think you can save that early pick and snag a TE that could do okay in Rd.8 or later (because who is going to pick up 2 TEs?). That way you can stock up on potiential players.
In my last draft I didn't even take a Kicker (and wasn't going to take a DEF) only to stack up on trade bait. Plus being that pre-season has just started I got a few extra back-ups for injury cover.

On one of your previous shows you talked about the Gridiron Guru League draft on CBS Sportsline and how they arent very good. Well, in the fourth round Jim Nantz takes Larry Johnson before guys like Ronnie Brown, J.J. Arrington, Cedric Benson, and Deshaun Foster. I know the guy has upside, but wouldn't you rather take a guy that has a better chance of playing more and starting? I don't know, but the fourth round seems awfully high to me.
