TE-O-RAMA

IS Gonzo tops among fantasy TE rankings?:

Fantasy Sac Says: No kidding! I thought is was Marcus Pollard ( ). Lets talk about TE's for a moment. Last year it was TE-fest 2004. Will this year be the year of the Tight end? Its hard to say but all signs point to another TEriffice year! Many teams are using 2 TE sets along with taking the usually larger player with good hands to go against the smaller DB's creates some serious matchup issues. Gonzo is no longer the #1 TE out there. Antonio Gates ( ) Fantasy Football ( ) numbers last year has given him the crown. Don't forget Alge Crumpler, Witten, McMichael and even Shockey who with all the bad press was the #5 TE in the league. My main TE last year was Wiggins of Minnesota ( ) even though a journeyman and older he has some value on an offensivly explosive team, again. Lastly there is Eric Johnson ( ) in San Fran ( ) but thats pretty scary over on the left coast. On the downside there is Bubba Franks, Marcus Pollard and Dallas ( ) Clark who could have lesser numbers this year. Some "sleeper" TE's for you. Todd Heap ( yeah I know but he was hurt last year) Boo Williams and Doug Jolley who could have new life with the J E T S Jets ( ) jets je...Oh man I hate the Jets, I hope his leg falls off.

if no t.o. Lj smith's stock will go up as well as his touchdowns. I had he and shockey last year and they did well for me. TE is becoming a position a fantasy coach can make some real "money" at. Jason Witten (another university of tennessee grad) is a beast.

come on soos, you gotta pick a favorite college team:)

BYT I'm an SU fan, McNabb and Harrison, recent grads. But I just don't like the college game or BCS. I can;t stand the 23 to 89 games, drives me crazy. Also how can you have 3 undefeated teams to end a season, thats just wrong.

yea, I know what you mean about the bcs thing. it's not working.

Tennessee played SU a few years ago when Mcnabb was playing. He was awesome. We won with a last second 50 something yard field goal. I'd havae to say we got lucky to come out with a win that day. I always followed Mcnabb after that. He rocks.

I think you (and you voice/email caller) summed it upon your last P-C. About these "fantasy experts" stating the known...
My only thing is Gates has had one good year, and some places are ranking him above Gonzo. I think Crumpler may have a case to be ranked up in A.

I would wait until I see someone pick up Gonzo, then go after Crumpler.

Frosty, Change your name to Bizarrosoos :) Here is more Bizarro. Your QB might me Feidler and X Dolphin , who I thought was pretty good.

The Real is right on the button. I think crumpler will be a great pickup this year.
I think that rookie at pittsburg could be pretty good.
I tell ya, watching Troupe in Florida,... the guy was a monster. He could be pretty strong.
LJ Smith will end up being pretty good if he can stay healthy.
Putzie (sp) in Denver should have a good year.
Wow, there's some good te's out there.
