Backup plans: Top five No. 2s who could be No. 1s: "Five backup quarterbacks who are most likely to be called upon -- and maybe even become saviors -- in the 2005 season."
Not a lot that we have not covered on the here blog, of note Jon Kitna (t d f) could be #1 if Palmer is not fantastic out of the gate. I'm agreeing with that and you guys know I'm not on the CP Train. Also the article suggest Kelly Holcomb (t d f) as being a viable #2 turned starter. This is another case where I agree since I don't see Losman getting the job done in Buffalo (t d f). Lastly they talk about Josh Mckown, who could take Kurt Warners (t d f) place in the depth chart. This one I'm not sure about Denny played musical QB's last year and seemed to pull McKnown just when it seemed he was getting hot. I wonder how he will treat a vet like Warner who has some serious WR's to go to. Take a read though there are some other Gems as well.
