Slash may be history, but Stewart worthy of shot: "Former MVP candidate Kordell Stewart is an unwanted free agent, at least for now. He may not have the package for a starter anymore, but as a backup, it's a surprise no team has signed him yet, considering some of the other backups."
Fantasy sac says: I like this paragraph:
What's not to like? His arm? OK, fine, tell me how accurate the Cowboys (t d f)' Tony Romo and Drew Henson are. His ability to make big plays? Tell me how many big ones Cleveland (t d f) backup Josh Harris made? His age? You know about Flutie. Minnesota backup Brad Johnson turns 37 in September (t d f).
This is what I think as well, believe that! Now remember when he was "Slash" wasn't it because he could run, catch and throw. Why is is still considered a QB, why not have him be some guy in the backfield that runs around and tries to make plays? I think he is still capable at that. Couldn't be be a TE like? I think so. If he was positioned as that I see him as being a huge impact player. Picture this. QB (t d f) takes the snap hands of to Stewart who is in motion. Stewart sees there is no place to run, steps pack and throws down field for 40 yards. I can see it.
