In the Trenches: Miami, San Diego have toughest roads: "The Miami Dolphins had a terrible 4-12 record last season, so the league 'rewarded' them with the most difficult schedule in 2005. Michael Fabiano examines the teams with the best and worst slates and the impact on Fantasy Football."

Fantasy Sac Says: My good friend George Masters ( ) asked me what I thought about the schedule and I never really got back to him. My thoughts are simple. schedule does not matter. They say that Miami ( ) has the toughest schedule this coming season. One glaring thing that says "this ain't so tough" is Miami does not have a Sunday or Monday night game. I have always thought that as being a bad thing, when a team has to play on Monday night, that gives them less recovery time, less practice time etc. Again on the Miami schedule, not because I'm a Miami fan but because they have been deemed to have the "toughest" schedule. One reason is because they play, Oakland ( ), Tampa ( ), New Orleans ( ), away. Last I looked Oakland was not that good last year, nor was NO and Tampa was, ok at best. Plus the home games have San Diego ( ) and Denver who both could implode after week 3, so you never know. How does this effect your team? Read the above article and note one very important statement that this says

" A number of contests in Week 16 (Fantasy Football ( ) Championship Week) could be barn-burners. Jacksonville ( ) travels to Houston to battle the Texans, Oakland and Denver square off at Invesco Field, Buffalo and Cincinnati face each other in Ohio, Detroit ( ) travels to New Orleans to face the Saints in a dome-stadium special, San Diego heads to Arrowhead Stadium to face the defenseless Chiefs and last but not least, Manning and the Colts ( ) host Hasselbeck and the Seattle Seahawks."
That is what I want, BARNBURNERS EVERY week, Look for these every week, I sometime will play 2-3 players on a team when I feel the combined points cored could be in the 40's or above. Think of this, last year I had 3 Denver players on my team, Ashley, Rod and Bell ( ). One game combined they got me over 40 points, with Bell doing little. So in conclusion, Schedule means little, when your hot your hot when your not, well your probably the Dolphins
