Patriots sign WR Dwight to one-year deal: "FOXBORO, Massachusetts (Ticker) - The New England Patriots filled a void on special teams Sunday, signing wide receiver Tim Dwight to a one-year contract."
Fantasy Sac Says: Normally I only talk about solid fantasy players and people who should be on your squad. Tim is unique in that he "could" be good but I think he is way underused in San Diego. he has always been a threat with returns but not much in the receiving dept. Here is the thing. I have always said that if he got on a good team "insert Pats" he could be a great receiver like a Joe Jurivicious, how ever you spell his name, and no I'm not going to look it up. He is a true burner, had good hands and is quick, Folks there is a difference between Fast and Quick and Dwight is Both. Example, Priest Holmes is Fast but not quick, Meaning if he gets into the open field not many can catch him. Whereas to be quick, someone like McNaab is quick but not fast where when guys get close to him he moves very quick, surprisingly quick, but he is not fast in the open field. Get it? With that said, don't draft Dwight but keep him in your sights if he starts seeing the ball.
