NFL Bengals Sign HB Johnson to $6.3 Million Deal (WKYT - Sports): "CINCINNATI (AP) - Running back Rudi Johnson signed a one-year, $6.3 million contract Monday to stay with the Cincinnati Bengals."
Fantasy Sac Says: If you read this blog I'm not on the Rudi Train. This ONE year deal kinda proves what I have said all along, I don't see Rudi being one of the elite backs in the league. He may end up being one of the most over used backs and that will bring his stock down over all. Will you pick him up early in the draft? Sure, he is a work horse but would I draft him above some other backs like Holmes, James, Davis, et al? No. Especially with Palmer still learning the ropes and Johnson the really only viable WR on the team I see Rudi getting a lot of 8 in the box type defenses. How did he get more yards then Cory Dillion baffles me but I think this year the real Rudi will show up and get JUST over 1000 yards if that.
