Moss and Bledsoe

Well Moss is off to the Raider Nation and Drew goes to Big D. Here is the fantasy spin. Since we have already looked at Bledsoe numbers in a previous post lets take a look at Moss.
Last year Moss had 13 TD's and 767 Yards ( he only played 13 games and really 11 full games) he averages about 13 a year with his high being 17 including his rookie year. This was, because of injury his first year not getting over 1000 yards, but 2003 was his best where he averaged 102 yards a game. Now Moss has been in the league for 7 years with Culpepper being his primary QB for 5 of those years. Remember Randall Cunningham use to toss to Moss (that rhymes!) for 98-99 campaigns including his rookie year. Now we already know good Culpepper is, throwing for 33 TD's his first year as a starter, but cunningham is no slouch either throwing for 34 td's in 98.

So what might happen to Moss in a Raider uniform, you ask?
Well lets look at a couple thing, First of all he has someone else on the other side of the ball, names Porter so it not going to be double coverage all day long for Moss. Collins is a strong armed QB who had just one TD more then INT's in a pass happy attack last year. The Raidas have NO running game with Wheatly, Fargas and Famous Amos Zereoue. The 3 headed monster (think sesame street) combined for 1295 yards. All in all I can see Randy being a good fit in a pass happy offense, with little D to support them as a good fantasy fit, I can see him getting at least 15 TD's if not more this coming year. Now imagine if a former Viking, Rich Gannon came back and was throwing to Moss? I bet he gets 20 TD's and 1800 yards.

Thats all for now. I think the next post will be, who will take Randys place and is his last name Buress or Mason?
